Join our Friends of the Foundation community and make a difference by supporting our two key objectives:

• To empower families with a common language that guides and supports their children’s emotional wellbeing and mental health.
• To raise essential funds to support vulnerable children in need.

As a Friend of the Foundation, you will receive monthly resources designed to teach families how to use The Magic Coat to foster emotional intelligence and equip children with tools to manage stress and anxiety. Our research has found that when home and school share a common language, the consistent messaging strengthens children’s degree of learning and maximises the impact of the tools taught in The Magic Coat.

All parents want to see their children succeed in school. Building strong social and emotional skills is the foundation for academic success and enables children to more actively participate in classroom activities. When students are comfortable expressing themselves, asking questions and collaborating with classmates, they are more likely to fully engage in the learning process.

Social emotional intelligence is crucial for children to understand and manage their own emotions as well as interact with others effectively. Learning these skills helps children to form positive relationships, make good decisions and lead successful lives.

For just $50+GST per year you will receive;

• A monthly video from Di Wilcox, founder of The Magic Coat, introducing a fun character from The Magic Coat and sharing a valuable social/emotional strategy.
• A monthly parenting blog addressing a common childhood or family challenge.
• A printable worksheet featuring an activity to help your child reinforce what they learned from the video.
• Priority access and discounts to Magic Coat fundraising events.
• Special member discounts on products in the Magic Coat shop.

As a special launch offer, new members will receive 10% off tickets for the Magic Coat Annual Ball to be held on Saturday, 21 June and 20% off products in the Magic Coat Shop.

Your contriburion will assist The Magic Coat Foundation to support vulnerable children in various settings including schools, foster care, women’s refuges and prisons. We ensure children receive valuable workshops and resources and provide parenting workshops to mothers, fathers and/or carers, so they can provide life-long skills to support their children’s mental health. The Foundation also runs programs for children in organisations such as Ronald McDonald House, at Perth Children’s Hospital andfor children with parents supported by Breast Cancer Care Foundation.
