At The Magic Coat Foundation, we empower children with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy strategies by inviting them to imagine wearing a special coat filled with tools to navigate life’s challenges. This approach is grounded in the concept of “enclothed cognition”—the idea that what we wear can transform how we feel, behave, and view the world.

Our Magic Coat All-Stars Day offers children not only the chance to learn these life-changing strategies but also to feel like the best version of themselves. It’s a day of confidence, strength, and hope for the future.

Here’s what they’ll enjoy:

• A personalised session with Magic Coat founder Di Wilcox to learn strategies to tackle life’s challenges.
• A hair and makeup session with the talented team at Artistic Visions in East Perth.

• Lunch at a fabulous restaurant, where they’ll be treated like a star alongside Di Wilcox and a parent or guardian.

Who Can Be a Magic Coat All Star?

We’re looking for children aged 5–12 who are facing tough times, including:

• Illness
• Poverty
• Grief
• Domestic violence
• Bullying

A parent or guardian (18+) must accompany the child throughout the day.

Important Details

• The selected child must be available on the assigned day (typically a Thursday, meaning they’ll miss school).
• Gifted clothing cannot be returned or exchanged.
• While we prioritise the child’s safety and wellbeing, responsibility ultimately lies with the accompanying adult.
• A photo and video consent form must be signed before the day.
• Siblings, relatives, or friends cannot attend.
