The Magic Coat Golf Day

Monday 18, March 2024

Presented by:

We are looking forward to seeing you all on Monday at Lake Karrinyup Country Club for the Magic Coat Corporate Golf Day presented by Balkan Mining & Minerals.

We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from returning players and sponsors, and also from many new individuals and companies that are joining us for this year’s golf day.

The money we raise at our fundraising events is essential to the development and expansion of our projects to support children’s mental health and our partnerships with organisations such as Perth Children’s Hospital, Breast Cancer Care WA and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

We also continue to support  children in foster care, women’s prisons, refuges and disadvantaged schools.

Each year we aim to take our events up another level, to provide our guests and supporters with an even better experience and to offer greater value for money in return for your support.

We hope you find the 2024 Magic Coat Corporate Golf Day presented by Balkan Mining & Minerals one to remember.

WHAT’S ON COURSE

Refreshments

The Bailey Brewing Kegerator is back to provide a welcome break on the 8th hole. You will also see two mobile drink carts circulating to keep you fed and hydrated, and two additional eskies on course.

Novelty Holes

A highlight of the Magic Coat Golf Day is the novelty holes, where you have the chance to test your golfing skills to win prizes and raise additional funds for our very important cause, children’s mental health.

Here’s where the fun can be found this year…

5th Hole | Nearest to Pin

Let’s see how your tee shot stands up under pressure on this par three, thanks to the generous team at Carbon Group.

8th Hole | Hole In One

The Hole in One competition is back on the 8th where you can land your own Toyota Kluger GXL AWD Hybrid thanks to Midland Toyota.

There have been eight hole-in-ones on this hole in the past five years, so the odds are better than you think! Just swipe your card for your chance to swing into a Kluger.

Please note, should you successfully score a hole-in-one, your car will be ordered for you.

11th Hole | Learn From the Best

For a small donation to The Magic Coat, you can have one of the LKCC professionals take your tee shot on the 11th and land your golf ball closer to the flag to keep you in the game!

15th Hole | Longest Drive

Demonstrate your prize-winning swing on the 15th with the Longest Drive competition and see how you stack up against the other players on course.

17th Hole | Nearest to Pin

It’s your chance to win BIG with a second Nearest to Pin sponsored by our new friends at Drummond Golf, Osborne Park. A $500 prize is in the bag for the winning team, so you’ll want to put your hand in your pocket to have a go at this one!

18th Hole | Longest Putt

Show your putting prowess on the 18th for your chance to win a great prize with the Longest Putt competition.

PRE-DINNER DRINKS

Following the day’s play, you are welcome to use the club facilities to shower and change and then join us for pre-dinner drinks overlooking the 18th hole.

Our wonderful wine sponsor Happs Wines has generously returned this year and will be sampling their range of award-winning wines during pre-dinner drinks.

You can also continue to enjoy the fabulous beers from Bailey Brewing who have also shown their incredibly generous support again this year.

EVENING FUNCTION

Our evening function, hosted by Tim Gossage will commence at 6.15pm in the Dining Room. You will be able to catch up with friends old and new and enjoy a delicious sit down dinner with equally delcomplimentary beverages.

You will have the chance to win some very special raffle prizes and bid on some fabulous auction items. We will also hear from some special guests including West Coast Eagles players Jack Petruccelle, Tom Cole, Noah Long and Jayden Hunt.

If you are unable to stay for dinner, please let us know asap so we can adjust our dinner numbers.

PRIZES

Thanks to Drummond Golf Osborne Park, we have some fabulous prizes for our winning teams this year. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams and of course, last place or the NAGA award.

You will want to play your best golf to be in the running for these amazing prizes!
